Getting started

What is D1 Football?

D1 Football covers college football scores, rankings, teams, and news across FBS. You can follow along on d1.football or in our free iOS and Android app, D1 College Football.

The app adds personalized home feed content, followed-team scores, push alerts for your teams, and deeper team and game pages.

How do I get the mobile app?

Search the App Store or Google Play for “D1 College Football” by Acrux Studios, or use the download badges in the footer of this site.

The app is free. Sign in with Apple or email to sync your followed teams and notification settings across devices.

What happens during first-time setup in the app?

New installs walk through a short onboarding: pick at least one team to follow, choose the types of content you want on your home feed, optionally enable push notifications, then sign in.

You need an account to finish onboarding so your teams and preferences can sync securely.

Following teams & personalization

How do I follow or unfollow a team?

In the app, open the Teams tab and tap the star on any FBS team. Followed teams appear under “Following” and drive your personalized scores, news filters, and home feed.

Tap the star again to unfollow. Changes sync to your account when you are signed in.

What does “Show Me More Of” do?

In More → Personalize (or during onboarding), you can choose what appears on your home feed: Scores & Results, Top News, and Rankings.

Recruiting and Stats & Leaders preferences are saved for future features; they do not yet change the home layout.

Can I set a primary team?

The app automatically treats your first followed team as the primary team for sorting and highlights. There is not a separate control to pick a different primary team in the app today.

Scores, games & notifications

How do scores and schedules work?

The Scores tab lists games by week with live, final, and upcoming status. Followed teams are highlighted in a “Your Teams” section.

Tap any game for a detail view with scoring summary, stats, play-by-play, and related news. The same game pages are available on d1.football when you click a game on the web scores ticker or scores page.

How do push notifications work?

In More → Notifications, enable Push Notifications and choose Game Start, Scoring, and Final Score alerts for games involving teams you follow.

You must be signed in on a physical device with system notification permission granted. Push alerts are not available in simulators.

Why am I not receiving alerts?

Check that push notifications are enabled in the app and in your device Settings, that you are signed in, and that you follow at least one team playing in the game.

Also confirm the individual alert types (start, scoring, final) are turned on. If problems continue, email us with your platform and the team or game you expected to hear about.

News & rankings

Where do news articles come from?

Headlines are aggregated from major college football publishers. In the app and on d1.football, tapping a story opens the original article on the provider’s site.

Use conference filters in the app News tab or browse national headlines on the website News page.

Which rankings polls are supported?

The app and website show AP Top 25 and other major polls when available from our data feed, including CFP and Coaches polls in the app Rankings view.

Followed teams are highlighted in ranking lists when you are signed in on mobile.

Account & billing

How do I sign in?

Use Sign in with Apple on iOS or enter your email to receive a one-time sign-in code. Google sign-in is not available yet.

If you never receive a code, check spam folders and confirm the email address, then try again after the resend cooldown.

How do I sign out or switch accounts?

Go to More → Manage Account → Sign Out. You can sign back in with the same method at any time; your followed teams and preferences reload from your account.

How do I delete my account?

Go to More → Manage Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and associated data (followed teams, preferences, and push notification settings). If you cannot access the app, email support@d1.football from the address tied to your account and we will help you.

Is the app free?

Yes. D1 College Football is free to download and use. d1.football is free to browse.

Troubleshooting

Scores or news look outdated

Pull to refresh in the app or reload the page on the web. Game pages refresh frequently during live games; some list views cache for a short period to stay fast.

If data still looks wrong after several minutes, note the team or game and email us so we can investigate the feed.

A team, game, or article is missing

We cover FBS teams and games from our data providers. Some lower-division or exhibition matchups may not appear.

Send us the team name, game date, or article headline and we will check whether it should be included.

Something else is broken

Try force-quitting and reopening the app, or restarting your device. On the web, hard-refresh the page.

If the issue persists, email support@d1.football with your platform (iOS, Android, or web browser), what you expected, and screenshots if helpful.

Contact us

For app help, account questions, bugs, or feedback, email support@d1.football. Please include your platform (iOS, Android, or web), a short description of the issue, and screenshots if they help.
